Finding the 'You' in you..

It was 8.20am on a beautiful Sunday morning and there i was sitting cosily, getting prepared, as always..
Being a typical well-organised high 'C' person, i gently arranged my pen and files, checking through the contents thoroughly while the room was still empty.
The class was about 'you'.. about 'Finding Your Fit' , the main subject of the day.

Discovering your own personality is a popular subject. We all try to find ourselves somewhere, somehow..Horoscopes, seeking fortune teller, reading self-help books were generated to help 'you' know 'yourself' better. But does it really help? Do you really believe?

Personality styles are the language of observable behavior. Everyone is different. We tend to encounter different characters that either irritates or alleviates us. It impact our thoughts, how we act and make desicions. All personalities are a combination of the 4 core styles.

D- dominance-choleric: Master in control, a risk taker. Most big shot and nasty managers fall into this category. Highly fast-paced, assertive, leader, argumentative, oversteps prerogatives. Tend to inspire fears in others. They tend to find faults, never listen..

 I- Influential- sanguine. A bubbly, happy character. Everybody loves a high 'I'. Very talkative, highly enthusiastic, optimistic, super friendly and usually popular. They promise you one thousand and one things but tend to forget as soon as they walked out from the room. Inattentive to details yet relational to feelings. Popularity is more important then result. They always get the recognition.

 S- Steadiness-phlegmatic. A team player who avoids conflicts. Likes to use the words 'relax, chill, cool..'
Very predictable, easy going, accomodating and a simply 'yes' person.  Ten to be over-lenient, indifferent, fully dependable on others decision and sensitive to criticism. They are more 'inward' and less expressive verbally but a very loyal, faithful friend.

C- Compliance-melancholy. Precision, accuracy, right-on-the-dot best describe this style of personality. Ensures order, highly motivated by schedules, plans. Tend to very analytical, expect tip-top condition. Zero tolerance over imperfection and bound by procedures, methods. Most musicians, people who work with numbers fall into this category. Quality is vital!

Most of us are a combination of one or more of the above personality styles. So now you know yourself in 'you'..Are you a 'C-S'?'I-D'? etc..you know yourself better..
